Rachel achieved CMI Management & Leadership Diploma!

On behalf of NLIG, I’d like to say a massive well done to Group Operations Officer, Rachel Karn, on gaining her CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. This is a huge achievement, representing exceptional hard work, dedication and commitment.

The Chartered Management Institute is the only chartered professional body within the field of Management and Leadership and is recognised by organisations globally as providing the ‘gold standard’ for management training. Designed to build confidence as a leader, the Level 5 Diploma enables participants to develop senior level management skills tailored to their specific job and career goals.

When you’re a manager, one of the most challenging parts of your job is looking after your team, as you need to make sure each person is achieving their goals, feeling happy in their role and getting on with their colleagues. Working from home during the pandemic made these requirements all the more important, yet trickier to achieve.

In my opinion, Rachel did a sterling job during lockdown, ensuring that NLIG’s staff continued to work as a team, with a high level of morale and wellbeing. She absolutely rose to the occasion, showing real leadership along with care and consideration for every member of the team.

I know Rachel put in many hours to achieve this qualification, including the odd sleepless night. Well done, Rachel! It was all worth it. We are all very proud of you and it also sets a great example to the junior members of staff, showing what they can achieve with the right application and focus. Congratulations on behalf of NLIG and everyone in the TMD Insurance Group!
